What a joke. This does not do anything but spin your cd near a cloth. The contact isn't even hard enough to do anything of significance.
For the money, this product is a great bargain. No cords, very easy to use. Get's rid of finger prints, small dirt/grime, ect. Will not remove scratches though it is not a scratch remover anyways. Does it's job perfectly and the company is more than professional.
Sooo tacky.I prefer the circular hand crank disc cleaners, they are made (or branded) by many electronic media companies like Philips, Scotch & Memorex. There's a few screws holding it in place.I ordered mine from amazon seller "Computer Geeks" and what arrived is not all black.
Rule number one with wiping the surface of the disc is to not go with the grooves in a circular motion. It is recommended to wipe from the inside to the outside.
This thing is such garbage. This is wrong, it's simple to buy a piece of microfiber fabric & replace it DIY.
This motorized cleaner does it with the wrong circular motion. It's loud, it tips over easily & the cleaning pad is quite small.Another commenter mentioned that if you need a new cleaning pad you have to re-buy the whole contraption.
It's half black, half grey & the spray bottle is half white, half blue. they have a spinning cleaner on a gear that keeps the wipe motion perpendicular to the disc's motion.
This compact system with built in storage for the cleaning spray is convienient to store and use. Tough dirt should be cleaned by spraying the cleaner onto a tissue and wiping prior to inserting into the Disc Cleaner. The unit will continue to run until the rotating disks is manually removed.
Battery-powered, easy to use. You spray the disc with fluid that comes with the unit, then insert the disc into slot and the machine spins the disc against a cleaning cloth. When you feel the disc has had enough (not more than 10 seconds), you pull the disc out and it's done. The unit has rubber feet so you can sit it on top of your TV or other surface and it won't slide off.
